The mission of FPC is “To Be Disciples…To Make Disciples.”

Jesus said, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19)
A disciple is a person who is following Jesus, is being changed by Jesus, and is living and loving like Jesus.

We believe Jesus is the model for life and ministry. Jesus showed us how to live life and
how to make disciples. We seek to emulate his method and model.

Our spiritual growth to become like Christ is not a one time event, but a series of steps we take throughout life as we follow Christ. It doesn’t matter where we are or how old we are, it all begins with taking the next step. We think the best way to do this is through being a part of a dGroup.

A dGroup is a small (3-5 members), same gender group, led by a trained disciple-maker,
that meets regularly to encourage one another as Christ-followers to continue taking steps in becoming a disciple of Christ who makes other disciples.
