Welcome!

Welcome to Sundays at First Presbyterian Church! Hopefully this page will let you know what a typical Sunday at FPC looks like. You will find a description of our worship service, as well as information about our weekly breakfast, Sunday School, and everything for your kiddos.

  • We love gathering together over a meal! Every week, we begin our Sunday mornings with a light breakfast in the Fellowship Hall.  We also have hot coffee, milk, and juice.  Come to breakfast, eat and fellowship!

  • We have children and adult Sunday School classes that meet from 9:30 a.m. - 10:20 a.m. You are welcome to learn more about those classes here.

View a list of Sunday School classes below.

  • Each week our worship services look much the same. We use a liturgy – an order of worship that helps us to remember what God has done, what he is doing, and what he will do. Our worship service typically lasts 60-75 minutes, during which we sing, we pray, we read God’s Word, we confess, we affirm, we preach, and we give.

  • People come to FPC dressed in a variety of different styles. On Sunday mornings you will find people wearing everything from casual attire to a suit and tie or dress. Honestly, we aren’t picky about what you wear. We are just glad you are with us!

  • We love to serve families of every size, shape, and style, which is why we make your children our priority! We have a nursery available for children from birth through age 3, located in rooms 1, 2, & 4 in the Education Building.

For those who are older, ages 4 through 5th grade, we offer Sunday School classes by grade. Following Sunday School, children and families worship together in the sanctuary, where children are dismissed to Children’s Church during the service.

Sunday School

Each week, a designated time for Sunday school occurs at 9:30 a.m. for both children and adults. In the adult classes, participants engage with the truths of Scripture through a variety of means and leader styles, fostering a collaborative environment among like-minded individuals. Sunday school provides a platform for individuals to identify, invite, and connect with others, facilitating a continuous Bible study experience.

The children's classes are organized by age, with each group assigned its own classroom. The children’s curriculums are tailored to different age groups and are instructed by members of the congregation.
